For the following category’s :- THE BILL HARDY TROPHY Presented to the Best Layout in show voted for by the Public HISTORY This Trophy is in Honour of Founder Member and past Treasurer BILL HARDY who passed away 1983, Presented by his Widow GRACE HARDY This years winner was OWEN STREET MAYFIELD CUP Is presented to the best layout in show
voted for by Soar Valley Model Railway Club members. HISTORY This Trophy was presented by MIKE & ROSEMARY MUTIMER trading as Mayfield Models (one of the clubs first show traders in 1984) This years winner was OWEN STREET The TIM GORDEN CUP (non returnable) Presented to the Best Layout in Show voted for by Traders HISTORY This Trophy is in tribute and memory of junior member Tim who was killed in 1985 by a car whilst delivering newspapers. This years winner was STAMFORD EAST THE LITTLE JEM PRODUCTS TROPHY Presented to the Best Scenic Effect in Show HISTORY This Trophy was presented by Current Chairman John A.Elliott when he was Chairman in 1987.to encourage and reward Scenic Quality. This years winner was RORGYLE
